Off the back of our success in building the brand-new Vintage Motor Cycle Club e-commerce site, we got the opportunity to stay in the same lane and come up with a website for the recently formed National Motorcyclists Council (NMC). With a vast membership including some of the countries biggest motorcycling organisations like the Auto Cycle Union, and the British Motorcyclists Federation, the NMC is a focal point for campaigning and challenging government policy. As a leading coalition of motorcycling representative organisations, the NMC needed a website to match their ambitions and their stature.
With a backdrop of a tight 2-week deadline to build the new site, our team got straight to work putting everything together to fit the limited timescale, but without sacrificing quality. The key to the structure of the new NMC site was all about presenting information. We needed to create a site that was informative as it was accessible, making it easy for those who work within the NMC to upload and curate the content on their own website – something we did by providing them with full training on how to use the websites content management system.
The structure of the site and the training we provided allows the NMC to easily upload their latest news articles and updates, as well as downloadable documents to the site with ease, leaving them in control of the content they share online. This was key to allow the NMC site to grow and flourish on its own – we just provided the tools to be able to do so.
